Salvage_

As an attempt to reduce material waste in the shoe production ‘Salvage’ from hide to fiber was born. Reclaiming material waste, shredding it into various sized shapes to create a patchwork leather and ultimately a leather yarn. Experimenting with knitted and woven roller materials, engineered uppers for performance and lifestyle shoes lead to an extensive research project with a lot of potential.
